At Sportunity, our mission is to support and uplift individuals who require our aid. Our programs are specifically designed to assist underprivileged and low-income youth between the ages of 5 and 16 years, residing in certain regions of Canada, as identified by median income data. We believe in the transformative power of sports for personal and social development, and hence, we encourage applicants with a genuine interest in athletic activities.

While our primary focus is on reducing poverty and promoting access to sports, we also understand the value of education and the character that is formed through leadership and community involvement. Therefore, we take into account applicants' academic performance, character assessment through letters of recommendation, and their active role within their communities.

We give preference to those who have limited access to other resources or assistance, and those who show a strong commitment to our program requirements. These include regular attendance, active participation, and adherence to Sportunity's rules and code of conduct.
